Is HeyGen free?
Yes. The Free plan is $0 a month with no credit card: up to 3 videos a month, each up to 1 minute, with access to Avatar IV, more than 500 stock video avatars, 1 custom video avatar and 30+ languages. HeyGen's FAQ adds limited trial access to premium features such as Video Agent and lip-sync translation.
Watermark removal is listed on Creator and Pro and not on Free, so expect free videos to carry a HeyGen mark. The pricing page also states no commercial terms for the free plan; check HeyGen's terms before using free videos in client work.
What a HeyGen credit costs
HeyGen has one currency for every feature. The page says a video's credits depend on the AI model, the duration and the complexity of the generation, and it lists no credits per minute, so this page does not put a per-video price on HeyGen. What it does show is the price of the credit itself, if you spend every credit of the month.

Unused credits roll over for one more month on monthly plans, and accumulate until renewal on yearly plans. They do not carry over after you cancel.

Do HeyGen credits roll over?
