Higgsfield plans and prices
Higgsfield sells monthly credits. Individual plans on monthly billing, as listed on its pricing page on 3 October 2026:
- Basic, $9 a month: 120 credits, which Higgsfield estimates at about 60 Nano Banana Pro images or about 7 Seedance 2.0 Fast videos. Up to 2 videos and 2 images generate at once.
- Pro, from $29 a month: 600 credits, about 300 Nano Banana Pro images or about 27 Seedance 2.0 videos. A slider raises it to 900 credits for $43. Up to 3 videos and 4 images at once.
- Max, from $79 a month: 1,800 credits, about 900 Nano Banana Pro images or about 80 Seedance 2.0 videos, with options up to 5,400 credits.
Yearly billing was shown at 30 percent off, and business plans sit on a separate tab. Higgsfield changes its plans and promotions often, so check its pricing page on the day you buy.
What you get for free
Signing up costs nothing. When we checked, the sign-up screen offered 50 credits for signing in with a business email. That covers a few images or one short test, not a project. There is no free monthly allowance on the pricing page.
The general pattern across AI video tools is that free credits are for testing, not for production. Expect limits on resolution, generation count and access to newer or more expensive models.
New Ziztu accounts get 40 free credits after email signup. That covers several images, a few sound effects or one short 480p video clip with a watermark, so you can test the tools before choosing a plan.
Is Higgsfield worth the cost?
Whether Higgsfield is worth its price depends entirely on what you are trying to produce. Here is a practical way to think about it:
Higgsfield is a good fit if: you produce high volumes of social media video across many different formats, you value a large ready-made effects library over fine-grained control, and you are primarily making short clips for platforms like TikTok, Instagram and YouTube Shorts.
Higgsfield is less well-suited if: you want anime-specific styles, you need consistent characters across multiple shots, you are building longer narrative video, or your project involves manga, comic generation or episode-level production.
For the latter needs, Ziztu is built from the ground up for anime and story-driven video. The AI Director, character identity lock, the AI Manga Maker and timeline beat markers are not features you will find in a general social effects tool.
How AI video credits work
Most AI video tools, including Higgsfield and Ziztu, use a credit system rather than a per-generation fee. Credits let you generate a mix of expensive and cheap content within the same plan: a 5-second video might cost many more credits than a still image, but both come from the same monthly pool.
Ziztu's credits are transparent: the exact cost in credits is shown before you press Generate. A 5-second clip at 480P costs 31 credits from the 1,000-credit Starter plan. A single anime image costs 3 credits. A sound effect costs about 5 credits for 10 seconds. The math is visible at every step.
When comparing plans across tools, check what the credits actually buy. The same plan price on two different tools may give very different numbers of high-quality video clips, depending on what the underlying model costs.
