How it works

1

Type the line your character says, up to 500 characters. Write it in the language you pick; the tool does not translate.

2

Pick a character type: genki, tsundere, kuudere, gentle senpai, hero, villain, narrator or old mentor. Each one is a voice plus a delivery cue (excited, annoyed, calm, softly and so on).

3

ElevenLabs v4 speaks the line in a few seconds. Play it on the page and download the MP3.

Anime character types, as voice direction

Anime character types are a quick way to say how a line should sound. Genki is fast and bright. Tsundere is sharp and defensive. Kuudere is flat and calm. Villain is slow and cold. The tool turns each type into a voice, a cue in square brackets that ElevenLabs v4 reads as direction, and a steadiness setting: low for lively types, high for calm ones.

Short lines work best. Punctuation matters: an exclamation mark lifts the energy, a full stop and a short sentence slow it down.

Using the lines in games, videos and visual novels

Each result is an MP3. Visual novel engines such as Ren'Py play it next to the dialogue box. Video editors put it on the timeline under your character art. For a whole scene, make one line at a time with the same character type so the voice stays the same.

Frequently asked questions

How does the anime voice generator work?

You type a line and pick a character type. The tool sends your line to ElevenLabs v4 with one of its stock voices, a delivery cue such as [excited] or [menacing] in front of the line, and a steadiness setting. You get one MP3 of that line.

Does it sound like a real anime voice actor?

No, and it does not try to. The voices are ElevenLabs stock voices, not copies of any actor or character. The character types change the delivery: excited and fast for genki, flat and calm for kuudere, slow and cold for the villain.

Which languages can I use?

English, Japanese, Spanish, French, German, Korean, Portuguese and Italian. Type your line in that language and pick it in the menu. The tool does not translate your words.

How much does a line cost?

ElevenLabs is billed per 100 characters, and the delivery cue adds about 10. A short line of up to about 85 characters costs 2 credits, up to about 185 characters 4 credits, and the 500 character maximum 10 credits. New accounts get 40 free trial credits.

Can it copy a voice from a show or a real person?

No. There is no voice cloning here. Please do not use the tool to pretend to be a real person.

What do I get?

One MP3 file (44.1 kHz, 128 kbps) of your line. Use it in a video, a game or a visual novel.

About 2 credits per use. Free to try: new accounts get 40 free trial credits (480p video, watermarked). See plans and pricing for more detail.
