Ideas and uses

What the example shows

The example above is the real output of this tool for a short product ad made with Ziztu: one line per phrase and the time each starts. A video from an X post comes back in the same form.

How it works on X

X posts have no transcript to copy. The tool opens the public version of the post, finds the smallest copy of the video, reads its sound with the Whisper large-v3 model and returns the words. It then deletes the sound. Videos up to 3 minutes are supported. A post with only a photo, a protected account or a deleted post has nothing to read.

Under the transcript are three more free steps. Summary gives the main point and the key points. 5 hooks writes five opening lines for a new video on the same topic, from five different angles. A post writes a caption you can post. Each one reads only the text you got, and each is free.

The last step is for a different kind of video. Turn this into a micro drama or anime script writes a short story idea from the topic and opens it in the free AI script writer or anime script generator. From there the same idea can become a real episode in the Ziztu studio.

Frequently asked questions

Is this Twitter video transcript generator free?

Yes. There is no signup and no card. 5 transcripts a day without an account, 20 with a free one. A post that was already transcribed here is instant and does not count.

Does it work with x.com links?

Yes. Links from x.com and twitter.com both work, in the form https://x.com/name/status/123.

How do I transcribe a video from a tweet?

Copy the link of the post, paste it above and press Get transcript. If the post holds a video, the words appear with their times within seconds.

How long can the video be?

Up to 3 minutes. For a longer video, download it and use the video to text converter, which takes files up to 10 minutes.

Does it work on protected accounts?

No. We read only what X shows to anyone without a login. We never ask for your X login.

Do you keep the video?

No. The sound is deleted when the job ends. Only the finished text is kept, for 30 days.

Why did my X link not work?

Most often the video is private, was deleted, or sits behind a login, and we can only read public videos. A link with extra words around it is fine, but it must point to one video. If the site is not letting our server read the video right now, the message says so: try again in a few minutes, or download the video and use the video to text converter, which works on any file you have.

Can I use a transcript of someone else's video?

A transcript is the creator's own words, so treat it like any other copy of their work. Use it to read, search, take notes, make captions for a video you have the right to, or study how a good video is built. Do not republish it as your own. If you reuse the ideas, say where they came from.

Free, no account needed. 5 speech-to-text transcripts a day without signing up, 20 with a free account. Captions and transcripts we already made do not count.
