Higgsfield MCP vs Ziztu MCP: Which to Connect (2026)

Higgsfield MCP vs Ziztu MCP in Claude: how each connector is added, what each costs, and which fits a micro drama or anime series. Checked 18 October 2026.

If you search for Higgsfield MCP, you will find tutorials that all say the same thing: add one address to Claude as a custom connector, sign in, and ask Claude to make a video. Ziztu's connector works the same way. You add https://getziztu.com/mcp to Claude, sign in, and Claude can plan, price and make micro drama and anime episodes. The connectors look alike on day one and differ on day two, when you want a story with the same cast across many shots, or when you want to know what an AI agent is allowed to spend. This article compares them honestly. We make Ziztu, so weigh that, and every Higgsfield fact below is linked to its own page with the date we read it.

The short answer

  • Pick Ziztu's connector if you are making a micro drama or an anime series: a project with a cast that stays the same, a shot plan, a price before every spend and a hard spend cap on every paid call.
  • Pick Higgsfield's connector if you want one stylish image or clip, many models behind one login, image and audio generation, or its ready-made presets.
  • Use both if you like. Each is a custom connector, and Claude lets you switch connectors on per conversation.

What each connector is

Higgsfield MCP is a server at https://mcp.higgsfield.ai/mcp. Its help center describes it as a way to generate images, videos, characters and audio from Higgsfield inside Claude or another MCP-compatible agent. Its MCP page says it covers more than 30 generative models. The tools its help page lists are image and video generation, using Soul characters, Higgsfield Audio and a credit balance check, and the capability table also shows website building in Claude, Cursor and command-line agents.

Ziztu MCP is a server at https://getziztu.com/mcp with 30 tools. It is built around a project, not a single generation. The AI Script Writer drafts the screenplay, and its script editor proposes changes you accept or reject. The Director plans the cast, the places and every shot. Quote tells you the price before anything runs. Separate tools make the first frame of each shot, animate the shots you pick and make the music, and another exports the finished film as an MP4. The same project opens in the Ziztu studio, where you can edit it. Docs for every tool are on the MCP server page.

How each is added to Claude

Both are custom connectors, so the steps are almost the same. Higgsfield's guide says: Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector, name it Higgsfield, paste the address, click Connect and authorize your Higgsfield account. Claude's own help page now words the menu as Customize, then Connectors, then + Add, then Add custom connector, and says custom connectors are available on Free (one connector), Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise.

Ziztu is added the same way: name it Ziztu, paste https://getziztu.com/mcp, choose Sign in now, click Add, then sign in to Ziztu. Ziztu then shows its own consent screen, where you choose what Claude may do: see your account, create and generate, export films. The full numbered steps, with the real Ziztu screens, are on the Connect Ziztu to Claude page, and there are matching pages for ChatGPT, Codex, Grok and Cursor.

Outside Claude the two differ. Higgsfield's guide says ChatGPT uses an official Higgsfield plugin from the Plugins directory, and Cursor uses a marketplace entry, which are one-click routes. OpenAI's own plugins repository on GitHub has a higgsfield folder with an app and an MCP manifest, which we confirmed on 18 October 2026. For Claude, Higgsfield's own instructions are the custom connector route, not a directory entry. Ziztu is added by address everywhere: in ChatGPT as a custom MCP server (OpenAI lists that for Business and Enterprise or Edu on the web), and in Cursor and Codex with one config entry.

What each costs

The connection is free on both sides. What you pay for is the generation, in credits, on your own account.

Higgsfield. Its connection guide says you need an active paid subscription, and its help page says everything generated through MCP deducts credits, whatever your plan. We read its pricing page twice on 18 October 2026. Both times it listed Basic at $9 a month for 120 credits and Pro from $23 a month billed annually, but the Pro options differed between the two views (600 or 900 credits, and a higher monthly-billing price), so we do not quote one Pro price. It also notes that unlimited models and free generations on its plans work only on higgsfield.ai, not on MCP or CLI. Higgsfield changes its plans often, so check the page.

Ziztu. Planning uses a few credits per Director message. New accounts get 40 free credits for scripts, character art, storyboards and voices, with no card. Video starts on a plan from $12 a month for 1,000 credits. On Starter, a 5 second clip with MiniMax H3 Max Turbo costs 31 credits at 480p or 50 credits at 768p, and Ziztu also runs Kling, Seedance, Grok Imagine and other models on the same balance. Every price is shown before the call runs. See pricing for every plan and pack.

For one single clip, the cheaper route depends on the model and the plan, and Higgsfield can be cheaper per clip: see our Higgsfield pricing and free plan page for the numbers we found. Ziztu's case is not the price of one clip. It is the price of a finished episode, with the plan, the cast, the clips and the cut in one project.

Where Higgsfield is stronger

  • More choice of models and media. Its MCP page says more than 30 models, and its tools cover images, characters and audio as well as video. For a single image or a trendy one-off clip, it is a direct route.
  • One-click routes in other apps. Its guide describes an official plugin for ChatGPT and a Cursor marketplace entry, so people on those apps do not need a custom connector.
  • Website building. Its capability table lists website building on Claude, Cursor and command-line agents, which Ziztu does not do.
  • Soul characters and presets. If its look is the look you want, the shortcut is real.

Where Ziztu is stronger

  • Whole episodes. One project holds the cast, the places, the shots, the music and the cut. The agent plans first, and you approve before it spends. See how to keep characters consistent in AI video.
  • The same cast in every shot and every episode. Characters live in the project as sheets, so they do not depend on the chat remembering them. That matters for a micro drama or an anime series that runs across many episodes.
  • A spend cap on every call. max_credits is required on first frames, clips, music and app runs. A call whose exact price is higher is refused before anything starts, and anything above 500 credits also needs an explicit confirmation. The Higgsfield help pages we read do not describe a per-call cap.
  • Price before spend. The quote tool and dry_run return the exact credits and start nothing, and they list any shot that is blocked and why.
  • Permissions you choose. The consent screen lists three permissions, and you can untick Create and generate so an agent can look but not spend.
  • A clean way out. Every connection is listed at getziztu.com/oauth/connections, and ending it stops the next call at once.
  • Built for micro dramas and anime. The Director, the vertical 9:16 format, dialogue, voices and cliffhangers are the point. If you want to see what that makes, the AI micro drama generator shows real episodes.

How we compared

We read Higgsfield's MCP page, its two help center pages about MCP and its pricing page on 18 October 2026, and Claude's help page on custom connectors the same day. The links are in the sources above. We did not subscribe to Higgsfield or run its connector, so what we say about how it behaves comes only from its own pages. Where we write "not described on the pages we read", that is a statement about the pages, not proof that a feature does not exist. Ziztu's side comes from its production MCP server: the tools, the spend rules and the consent screen. Companies change plans and menus, so check the current pages before you pay, and tell us if something here is out of date.

Which should you connect first?

If you make episodes, connect Ziztu first: it is the one that plans the cast and the shots, and it will not spend without a cap. If you want one clip, an image or a website, connect Higgsfield. If you are unsure, the cheap test is to connect Ziztu and ask it to plan a 60 second micro drama. That costs no credits and shows you the plan, the cast and the price. For more on how Higgsfield compares on price, read Is Higgsfield free? and our Higgsfield alternatives page.

Frequently asked questions

What is Higgsfield MCP?

Higgsfield MCP is a server at https://mcp.higgsfield.ai/mcp that lets an AI app such as Claude generate images, videos, characters and audio from your Higgsfield account. Its help page says it connects to your existing account and uses your existing plan credits.

How do I connect Higgsfield to Claude?

Higgsfield's help page says to open Claude's connector settings, add a custom connector named Higgsfield with the address https://mcp.higgsfield.ai/mcp, click Connect and authorize your Higgsfield account. Ziztu is added to Claude the same way, with https://getziztu.com/mcp.

Does Higgsfield MCP need a paid plan?

Higgsfield's connection guide says you need an active paid Higgsfield subscription. Its help page also says everything generated through MCP deducts credits, and that unlimited models and free generations work only on higgsfield.ai.

Is Ziztu MCP free?

The connection costs nothing, and planning an episode with the Director uses only a few credits per message. New accounts get 40 free credits for scripts, character art, storyboards and voices. Video starts on a plan from $12 a month.

Which connector is better for a micro drama or an anime series?

Ziztu. It plans the cast, the places and every shot in one project, keeps the same characters in every shot, shows the price before each spend and exports the finished film. Higgsfield is the better fit for single clips, images and its wider set of models.

Can Higgsfield MCP overspend my credits?

The Higgsfield help pages we read describe no per-call spend cap, so check how it behaves on your own account before you let an agent run unattended. Ziztu requires a max_credits cap on every paid call and refuses a call whose exact price is higher.

Can I use both connectors in Claude?

Yes. Both are custom connectors, so you can add both and switch them on per conversation. Use Higgsfield for a one-off clip and Ziztu for an episode with a fixed cast.

Plan, generate and edit the whole film in one place: characters, shots, music and the cut. New accounts get 40 free credits, no card, for scripts, character art, storyboards, voices and sound. Your first 5 second video is free on H3 Max Turbo at 480p; more video starts on any plan.
