AI Anime Series Maker

An AI anime series maker plans a season, keeps the same characters in every episode and makes each episode shot by shot. In Ziztu you write a series bible, make a character sheet for each character, plan an episode with the Director and cut it with voices and music, one episode at a time.

Real anime made in Ziztu

These are five finished shorts, each planned shot by shot and made from a script with the same characters throughout. The Sky Whale is 58 seconds and 20 shots with two characters; The Last One runs 1 minute 57 seconds; Redline is 30 seconds with three characters. They are single stories, not a series yet, but a series is the same craft repeated: the same sheets, the same look, a new episode each time.

A series in five steps

  1. Write the series bible. The premise, the cast with wants and secrets, the look of the world and a map of the season. The series bible template works for anime too, and the anime script template covers the episode.
  2. Lock the look. One style for the whole series, written once and reused in every prompt: cel shading, painterly clouds, soft rain. A style that changes between episodes reads as a different show.
  3. Make a character sheet for every character. The same person from the front, the side and the back, drawn once. Keep the sheets between episodes: they are the series.
  4. Plan one episode at a time. The Director turns the episode idea into a cast, places and a shot list in ekonte form. You approve it, then generate the shots, retaking only the ones that drift.
  5. Add voices, music and subtitles, and cut. One timeline, one export, then the next episode starts from the same sheets.
The character sheet of Mio: the same girl in a straw hat, blue dress and red neckerchief with a picnic basket, from the front, both sides and the back
Mio, from The Sky Whale: every shot she is in starts from this sheet.
The design sheet of Kumo, the whale made of cloud, from three angles
Kumo, the whale made of cloud: a character sheet is not only for people.

A short film or a series?

A short film is one arc: a hook, a problem, a rescue and a button, as in The Sky Whale. A series is the same shape repeated with a thread across it. Make the short film first. If the characters and the look hold, the next episode costs less than the first, because the sheets are done.

How long an episode is, and what it costs

Television anime is broadcast in cours, three-month blocks that usually hold 13 episodes, in half-hour slots. An AI series is shorter: one to five minutes an episode, and six to twelve episodes a season is a good size to finish. Anime episode structure has the parts of an episode and a free template. The price of a clip is shown before you generate it, and at list price an episode of 4 second shots costs about this, for the clips only:

Voices, music, keyframes and retakes are extra. Free credits cover scripts, character art, storyboards, voices and sound. Animating shots into video starts on any plan. Free results carry a small watermark.

How it differs from an anime video generator

A video generator makes a clip. A series maker makes the thing around the clip: the plan, the sheets and the timeline. If you only want one 5 second clip, use the AI anime video generator. If you want an episode, or ten, use the Director and the timeline, and keep the sheets.

Start this in Ziztu

Start episode 1 of a series from one idea and change anything.

Your idea, ready to change
A 16:9 anime series, episode 1: Mio, a baker's girl in a straw hat, delivers bread to the hilltop every morning, and today a whale made of cloud is waiting there. It opens on one gentle eye opening in a huge cloud and ends on the whale saying her name.

40 free credits, no card: write the script, cast your characters, draw the storyboard and hear the voices. Video starts at $12. You see the price before every generation.

Frequently asked questions

What is an AI anime series maker?

An AI anime series maker is a tool that plans a season, keeps the same characters in every episode and makes each episode shot by shot. In Ziztu the Director plans the cast and shots, character sheets keep the faces and outfits the same, and a timeline cuts voices, music and subtitles into one MP4.

How do I make an anime series with AI?

Write a series bible, lock one look, make a character sheet for each character, then plan and make one episode at a time. Keep the sheets between episodes so every episode starts from the same characters. Ziztu shows the price of every generation before you spend credits.

Can AI keep the same characters across episodes?

Yes, with character sheets. Draw each character once, start every shot from the sheet and reuse the sheets in every episode. A hard shot can still drift, and Identity lock sends your references with the clip to fix it.

How long can an AI anime episode be?

As long as you can afford and review: an episode is many shots of 3 to 15 seconds cut together. One to five minutes is a good range, and a first episode of 30 to 60 seconds is the cheapest way to test your cast and look.

What does an AI anime episode cost?

At list price the clips of a 1 minute episode of 15 shots of 4 seconds cost 600 credits at 768P, about $7.20 on Starter, plus voices, music, keyframes and retakes. The 40 free credits cover script, cast and storyboard; video starts at $12.

Is there an AI anime short film maker?

Yes, and a short film is the right first project. Write one idea with a hook, a problem, a rescue and a button, and let the Director plan it. The Sky Whale on this page is a 58 second short film made that way.
