How it works
Upload a product photo and describe the offer and your target audience in plain words.
Choose an aspect ratio and tone. The AI writes a script with a hook, a short product demo, the offer and a CTA.
GPT Image 2.5 places your product in three keyframes, H3 Max Turbo animates each one at 480P, and the shots are cut with a voiceover, music and captions into one 15 second MP4. It takes about 5 to 10 minutes.
How to make a video commercial with AI
Making a short video commercial with AI takes three inputs: a product photo, a description of the offer and your target audience. The AI handles the rest: writing the script, generating shots from your photo and assembling them into a complete video.
The hook matters most. The first two seconds determine whether the viewer keeps watching. Describe the most specific benefit your product offers in your prompt: "cuts noise by 40 dB" is a stronger hook than "great for focus". The AI uses your description to write the hook line and choose the opening shot.
Aspect ratios and ad placements
Short video ads run in three main shapes today:
- 9:16 (vertical): Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Stories. The dominant format for mobile-first campaigns. The whole screen is yours.
- 1:1 (square): Facebook Feed, Instagram Feed, some LinkedIn placements. Works on desktop and mobile without cropping.
- 16:9 (widescreen): YouTube pre-roll and bumper ads, web banner placements, TV-style commercial slots.
One run makes one ratio. To cover both Reels and Feed, run the tool twice, once in 9:16 and once in 1:1, and add both videos to the same Meta campaign.
AI disclosure and ad compliance
The EU AI Act (effective August 2026) requires that AI-generated content be labeled when it is realistic enough to mislead viewers. The AI-generated label option is on by default and adds a visible "Made with AI" tag to the video. For EU campaigns, do not turn this off.
The FTC requires clear disclosure when AI-generated people appear as real customers, users or endorsers. The script writer is told never to write testimonials or present anyone as a real customer. If you want a real customer in your ad, film them yourself.
Meta and TikTok both have their own AI labeling requirements in their ad manager. Upload the MP4 and apply any additional labels the platform requires before running the campaign.
Frequently asked questions
What is an AI commercial generator?
An AI commercial generator turns a product photo or description into a short video commercial with AI. It writes the script (hook, demo, offer, CTA), generates video clips from your photo and assembles them into an MP4 you can download and run as an ad.
Which output formats does it support?
Choose one ratio before generating: 9:16 (vertical, for Reels, TikTok and Stories), 1:1 (square, for Facebook and Instagram Feed) or 16:9 (widescreen, for YouTube and web). One run makes one MP4 in the ratio you pick, with one hook: three 5 second shots (hook, demo, offer and call to action), a voiceover, a music bed, on-screen captions and an optional "Made with AI" tag. The video is 480 px on its short side (for example 480 x 854 for 9:16).
How much does a video commercial cost to generate?
One 15 second ad costs 148 credits: 3 keyframes (GPT Image 2.5), three 5 second clips (H3 Max Turbo at 480P), a voiceover (ElevenLabs) and a music bed (Lyria). New accounts get 40 free trial credits, which is not enough for one ad, so an ad needs a plan or a credit top up.
Do I need to add an AI disclosure label?
The EU AI Act (effective August 2026) requires that AI-generated content be labeled when it could mislead viewers. The AI-generated label option is on by default. For Meta and TikTok ads, both platforms also require disclosure when AI-generated media features a realistic synthetic person. Review your platform's ad policies and your local legal requirements before running any AI-generated ad.
Can AI actors appear as real customers or testimonials?
No. FTC guidelines prohibit presenting AI-generated people as real customers or endorsers. Do not present AI-made people as real customers in your ads. The "Made with AI" label option serves as a disclosure.
What is the hook, demo, offer, CTA structure?
A four-part structure common in short video ads: the hook stops the scroll in the first two seconds, the demo shows the product in use, the offer names the deal or key benefit, and the CTA tells the viewer what to do next. The AI writes all four parts from your product description.
Can I use the output in a paid ad campaign?
Yes. Download the MP4 and upload it to your ad manager. Before running it, check that the copy, claims and visuals meet the platform's ad policies. The AI-generated label option adds a visible disclosure, which is required by Meta and TikTok for realistic synthetic media.
What happens after the free trial credits run out?
You can buy a credit pack or choose a monthly plan. The credit cost per commercial is shown on the generate button before you run it, so you always know the price in advance.
