How it works
Upload a full-body photo of an adult, head to feet in the frame, with some space around them.
Pick a dance style: hip-hop groove, shuffle, salsa, disco, robot dance or contemporary. Add a detail in your own words if you want, such as a spin at the end.
MiniMax H3 Max Turbo animates the photo into a 5-second dance clip at 768P in about two minutes. Download the MP4.
Ideas and uses
Dance styles you can pick
- Hip-hop groove: bouncy steps, shoulder rolls, confident arm moves.
- Shuffle: fast footwork that slides in and out.
- Salsa: quick steps and hip motion with turns.
- Disco: pointing arms, hip sway, a 70s party feel.
- Robot dance: stiff, sharp, stop-and-go moves.
- Contemporary: flowing arms, reaches and slow turns.
The model makes its own moves in that style, so each clip is different.
Tips for a better dance clip
- Full body: head to feet in the frame, with space around the person so the arms and feet do not leave the picture.
- Simple background: the background stays still, so a plain wall or an empty street looks best.
- Clothes that move: a t-shirt or hoodie and loose pants show the motion well.
Frequently asked questions
How does the AI dance generator work?
You upload one photo and pick a dance style. The tool sends the photo and a written description of the dance to MiniMax H3 Max Turbo, an image to video model, which animates the person in the photo for 5 seconds.
Can I copy the moves from a dance video?
No. The tool does not take a reference video, so it cannot copy a set routine or a trending dance step for step. It makes its own moves in the style you pick.
How much does it cost?
A 5-second clip at 768P costs 50 credits. Sign up with an email address and you get 40 free trial credits; on the trial a clip is made at 480P for 31 credits and carries a small watermark.
What photo works best?
One adult, the whole body from head to feet in the frame, standing, with some space on every side and a simple background. Cropped feet or hands make the dance look stiff or cut off.
Does the face stay the same?
The model is told to keep the same face, clothes and background. Fast moves can still blur or change details, most often hands and feet.
Can I use photos of other people?
Only photos you have the right to use, and only with the consent of the person in them. The tool is for photos of adults only.
Is my photo stored?
Your uploaded photo is deleted from our server within 24 hours. To make the video, the photo is sent to our AI provider, fal, which keeps its own copy under its own retention rules.
