Jujutsu Kaisen has a grounded, modern urban look that contrasts sharply with the supernatural elements. Here are the key design principles:

• Modern fashion as base: JJK sorcerers wear practical modern clothing outside of the school uniforms. Street fashion, sportswear and casual layers are common. The supernatural comes from what the character can do, not what they wear. Avoid elaborate fantasy costumes unless the character's background specifically calls for them.
• Cursed energy visualization: cursed energy appears as dark, smoky, crackle-static effects in the character's colors. It should feel heavy and wrong, not clean or sparkly. When a technique activates, the effect should feel like it costs something.
• One signature item: many JJK characters have one distinctive piece: Gojo's blindfold, Nanami's tie, Toji's scar. Design your OC around one memorable element that identifies them instantly.
• Expressive faces under pressure: JJK is a series about characters holding themselves together under extreme circumstances. The face should be capable of showing genuine fear, determination and grief, not just cool action poses.
• Practical clothes, impractical powers: the contrast between ordinary fashion and extraordinary ability is a core JJK visual tension. A character in a school uniform who can reshape space is more unsettling than one in dramatic armor.
