Nano Banana to Video
Nano Banana makes the picture, not the video. On Ziztu Nano Banana Pro makes the still and a video model animates it, with the price of both steps shown first.
What it is good at
- You choose the first frame exactly: the face, the outfit, the place and the light are decided before the video starts.
- The same still or character sheet can start many clips, so a cast stays the same from shot to shot.
- Nano Banana Pro writes clear text into the picture, so a sign or a title in the first frame stays readable.
Honest limits
- Nano Banana makes pictures only. The motion, the sound and the length come from the video model.
- A still sets the first frame and the video model decides the rest, so a clip can differ from what you pictured.
- Free credits do not pay for video, and Nano Banana Pro is not open to them.

Still prompts and the motion to add
Copy a prompt, or press Try it to open the generator with the model and the prompt in place.
A photo of a young woman in a yellow raincoat on a wet neon street at night, reflections in the puddles, 35 mm look.
Then animate it: She looks up and smiles, rain falling, the camera pushes in slowly. Neon buzz and rain sound.
Makes: A moody street portrait that comes alive in 5 seconds.
A watercolor-style picture of a lighthouse on a green cliff at sunrise, small boat on the sea, soft pastel sky.
Then animate it: Waves roll in, the boat drifts left, gulls cross the sky. The camera tilts up slowly.
Makes: A painted scene that moves gently.
Two friends in matching red coats on a snowy hill with a wooden sled, bright winter light, photo style.
Then animate it: They jump on the sled and slide down laughing, the camera follows from the side. Crunching snow.
Makes: A cheerful action beat from a still.
A cozy cafe window seat with a steaming cup, rain on the glass, a small plant, warm light, photo style.
Then animate it: Steam rises from the cup, rain runs down the glass, a hand reaches in and lifts the cup. Soft rain sound.
Makes: A calm product-like moment.
A character sheet front view of a girl with short black hair in a green raincoat, plain light background.
Then animate it: She turns to the camera and waves, medium shot, soft light.
Makes: A reference picture turned into a first shot of a cast member.
Prompt tips for Nano Banana to Video
- Write the still prompt like a photograph: who, where, light, lens. Leave the movement for the video prompt.
- In the video prompt write only what moves and how the camera moves. The picture already holds the look.
- Make four stills, pick the best, and run the same motion prompt on two video models.
How Nano Banana to video works on Ziztu
Nano Banana is a picture model, not a video model. It does not make video. In Ziztu you use it for the first half of the job: Nano Banana Pro makes the still, and a video model animates that still as the first frame of a clip.
- Make the still. Open the AI Video Generator, choose Image to video or Reference to video, open Make pictures and pick Nano Banana Pro. Describe the person, the place and the light. Make one to four pictures.
- Pick the one you like. Use it as the first frame, or as a reference when the same character must appear in more than one clip.
- Animate it. Pick a video model, write only what moves and how the camera moves, check the price and press Generate.
Why start from a Nano Banana still
With text to video the model invents the first frame. With a still you choose it: the face, the outfit, the place and the light are already decided, and the video model only adds motion. The same still, or the same character sheet, can start many clips, which is how a cast stays the same from shot to shot. Nano Banana Pro is good at clear text in pictures and at keeping the same people across several pictures, so it makes a strong first frame for posters, signs and characters.
Which video model animates it
Any model in the generator that takes a first frame can animate your still: Seedance 2.5, Seedance 2.0 Mini, Kling 3.0 Pro, Kling 3.0 Standard, Kling 3.0 Turbo, Kling O3, Kling O1, H3 Max Turbo, H3 Max, H3 2K, Grok Imagine Video 1.5 and Grok Imagine Video 1.5 Lite. Seedance 2.5 makes the longest single clip, up to 30 seconds. The quickest way to choose is to run the same still and motion prompt on two models and compare. For a whole episode, Ziztu Studio sends character sheets with every shot and lets you pick a different model for each one.
Honest limits
- Nano Banana makes the picture. The motion, the sound and the length come from the video model you pick.
- Nano Banana Pro is not open to the free credits: it starts on a plan. Video starts on a plan too. The free credits pay for scripts, cast, storyboards, voices and the cheaper image models.
- A still gives the first frame only. The video model decides what happens next, so a shot can differ from what you pictured. Run it twice if needed.
- Use pictures you have the right to use, and no real person without their permission.
Other image models
Make the same picture on a second model and keep the one you like.
Frequently asked questions
Can Nano Banana make video?

How do I turn a Nano Banana image into a video?
1. In the Ziztu AI Video Generator choose Image to video and open Make pictures. 2. Pick Nano Banana Pro, describe the picture and make it. 3. Pick the picture as the first frame, choose a video model, write what moves and how the camera moves, and press Generate.
What is the Nano Banana image generator on Ziztu?
Ziztu runs Nano Banana Pro, Google's image model built on Gemini 3, at 1K, 2K and 4K. It also edits pictures you add. See the Nano Banana Pro page for its price, limits and prompts.
Can Nano Banana do image editing?
Yes. Nano Banana Pro has an edit mode: send one or more pictures and say what to change and what to keep. Edit first, then animate the result.
How much does Nano Banana to video cost?
Two prices add up: one still (1K 38 credits ($0.46), 2K 38 credits ($0.46), 4K 75 credits ($0.90)) and one clip (the table above lists each video model). Both are quotes from the function that bills them.
Is Nano Banana to video free?
Not fully. A new Ziztu account gets 40 free credits, no card, for scripts, character art, storyboards, voices and sound. They do not cover Nano Banana Pro, and video starts on a plan, from $12 a month for 1,000 credits. Google offers its own free Nano Banana in Gemini; that is Google's and has its own limits.
